80 Lowrider Clubs To Take Over Chicago
On Saturday, Chicago will host the Slow & Low: Chicago Lowrider Festival at Navy Pier.
According to organizers, the festival will showcase an array of customized vintage lowrider cars, while celebrating the city's Mexican-American community.
The festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature over 250 vehicles from nearly 80 car clubs, along with modified motorcycles and bikes.
Attendees can enjoy performances by mariachi and cumbia bands.
DJs will also provide entertainment in the lobby area. Additional highlights include a children's zone, food vendors, and an artisan market showcasing local Chicago businesses.
Tickets to Slow & Low: Chicago Lowrider Festival can be bought here as well as at the event. A free shuttle to the festival will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, departing hourly 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday from 1637 W. 18th St. in Pilsen.
