Feds Warn: Fake Ice Agents Running Wild
In a rare public bulletin, the FBI warned that criminals are increasingly impersonating ICE agents, carrying out robberies, kidnappings, and sexual assaults while posing as federal immigration officers.
The advisory flags multiple incidents across the country in 2025 and urges coordination among law-enforcement agencies to verify identities in operations. Authorities say imposters are exploiting the public profile of ICE to gain trust, and that clearer identification (even when masked) is necessary to protect vulnerable communities and restore confidence in federal enforcement
Economy Tops Voter List: 2025 Mid-Election Exit Poll
An exit poll from the 2025 elections reveals that economic issues far outweighed other concerns for voters when choosing candidates. Inflation, cost of living, jobs, and economic stability were cited as the dominant priorities, surpassing topics like culture-war issues, climate policy, or social reforms.
Candidates seen as offering practical solutions to everyday financial pressures fared better at the polls. The poll suggests that despite fierce rhetoric around identity and social issues, most voters are driven by bread-and-butter concerns.

ICE Holds U.S. Citizen 7 Hours After Photo Snap
A U.S. citizen in Oregon, says she was detained for seven hours by immigration agents after photographing what she believed to be ICE operatives. The woman alleges agents took her into custody at an ICE facility in Portland following the incident, sparking calls from civil-liberties advocates about transparency, abuse of power, and unchecked federal enforcement.
She remains free now, but the case raises questions about whether agents can detain citizens simply for documenting what appear to be law-enforcement operations—or whether checks on immigration enforcement are strong enough to protect civil rights.
How Chicanos Reshaped The United States
From the 1836 Texas revolt to now, Mexicans and Mexican Americans have been shuffled across both sides of the border, either by force or by choice. Because of this history, an assortment of border identities has formed, the most notable being Chicano.
In a country that has often made them feel like outsiders, second class citizens, and an expendable labor force, Chicanos have a long history of mobilizing on behalf of rights and liberties.
