CBS: A new exhibit called "Carros y Cultura: Lowriding Legacies in Texas" showcases the colorful heritage of Texas's lowriding communities, featuring artifacts, interactive experiences, and lowrider cars and bicycles from across the state. The new exhibit can be found at Bullock Museum from May 11 to September 2, 2024.

A joint report by DEI firm Kanarys and Hispanic-professional group Prospanica revealed that not only are Latinos underrepresented in corporations and executive boards, but Latinos in these positions tend not to assert their identity and often feel as though they’re held responsible by management for DEI while still left out of DEI trainings. Report: Many Latinos Still Uninsured
Yahoo: According to a new report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), the Latino uninsured rate in the US stands at 18%, twice as high as the US average. Latinos make up the highest share of the US immigrant population at 44%, more than 20 million people. In 2022, 46% of Latino immigrants without US citizenship were uninsured, according to CBPP findings, tied with American Indians/Alaska Natives for the highest uninsured rate among non-US citizens.
New Chicano License Plates Proposed In Colorado
A new Chicano-themed license plate has been proposed by representatives in the state of Colorado. The bill was sponsored by Rep. Tim Hernández. The bill must still be approved. Colorado is currently home to over a million Latinos, most of whom are of Mexican descent.
